I thank Beth @plasticrosaries who I copied from too - and she copied from someone, who copied from someone. We have a permanent "...Greed: Least Expensive. We have a permanent "tag-sale" at our recycling station. Many older books <= $1 US. Most expensive. Computer software development manuals, generally UNREAD!
Wrath: Douglas Hofstadter, author of "Gödel, Escher, Bach", which should have been a magazine article, rather than a book length wank. "Too clever by half".
Sloth: "Bored of the Rings", anything by Tolkien, after reading "The Hobbit". Most technical manuals.
Envy: Original notes by Josh Friedman and his writers, for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, especially pertaining to the unmade Season 3 and his longer term understanding of the story arc.
Gluttony, Pride, and Lust: "Neurophilosophy: Toward a Unified Science of Mind and Brain", by Patricia S. Churchland. The lucidity of this author simply gob-smacks me. I would willingly do unspeakable things for her if asked ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
